Due to the creative nature of the marketing industry, people are usually under external and self-imposed pressure to showcase their imaginations, passions and creative thinking abilities. Clients want results and it’s up to marketers to delivery upon those needs which may vary from website design, branding, digital marketing, PR etc. however some of the deliverables may rely on factors that the marketers do not have control over. Social media has also become a source of anxiety for marketers due to the sensitivity of the content being published and the lack of policing from the media owners; if you are social media manager for a brand this is always on your mind when publishing content.
Lee Biggins, founder and managing director of CV Library, said: “While mental health is something we are beginning to talk more about across the UK, it’s clear that there’s still more that needs to be done to help those affected – especially in the workplace.
